no erasers in art class: dion hortsman

The act of a single line can never be undone; it can only be improved. There were no erasers allowed in my art class, for that, I am thankful. The gesture to conceive, create and dream could never be undone. Design is an evolving, revolving, exciting and enticing act. We see, we respond, we act, we think, we dream. Ultimately, the role of the designer is to inspire and engage, and to encourage the second line to be drawn, never disregarding the first. This is a conversation with lines.

theres not much i dont love about this mans beautiful craftmanship.
i love it all. the sculptural elements, the lines, the angular elements. love it.

after stumbling across his work, in a magazine, in the background of a feature on two fashion designers, in their home. i set about finding more about this work.
and to my surprise, the amount of work is limited. the artist quite unpublished and unexposed.
in a way, its still raw and fresh, and even more exciting.

did i mention i love it?!
