The collaboration between John Leung and clarehopkinsclarke architects resulting in this isometric bookshelf is a fine example of design having both practical and illusive attributes.
The trickery created through this optical illusion of lines, represented through metal lines, plays with the idea of 3D elements and the affect of lines of the eye, and the viewers position with the object. The relativity of the object and the objectifier, are what determine the experience.
The power of the line, yet again, prevails and plays again.
